I arrived in Blackpool at around 5pm, the prom appeared to be deserted with only the basic service operating. Trams in service
were
Fleetwood 707, 761, 712, 711, 713, 724 (I didnt catch the 7th
decker but I'm led to believe that either 718 or 726 was the 7th
decker)
Cleveleys 642, 643, 645, 641, 644.
Into the evening and the Cleveleys Cars moved onto the Fleetwood
service with the deckers all returning to depot. 646 and 647 joined
sister cars 641 - 645
on the service giving us the 7 original Centenary Cars on service.

On to the Saturday and a good day weather wise, not bad on the
tram side of things either!!!! First out was 713 heading to Fleetwod,
with 711 following for Starr Gate, 631 was first out for Cleveleys. The
full lineup on service was
Fleetwood 713, 711, 707, 724, 709, 761, 762
Cleveleys 631, 643, 630, 647 and 645
6 specials saw use during the day with 648, 622, 642, 644, 66 and 605
in service (although it would have been better to have seen either
623, 600 or a vintage tram out in place of the plain liveried 642 and
648.
The highlight of the day was the ultra rare use of Stockport 5 which
was seen on a private hire during the afternoon after possibly 2 or 3
years of non use.
As per the night before, the 5 Cleveleys cars replaced the
deckers on Fleetwood service during the evening with 648 and possibly
644 (can anyone confirm?) joining them.

On to Tram Sunday and yet another bumper selection of trams. 724
was first out for Starr Gate with 707 first out to Fleetwood. 643 was
first out to Cleveleys.
An early morning treat was also in store for those people who visited
the depot with a shunt of the vintage trams to get them into order for
going out later on allowed some great shots of the trams on Hopton
Road.
Fleetwood 724, 707, 713, 721, 709, 761, 762
Cleveleys 643, 645, 646(642), 647, 648
A number of specials also operated during the day with 733+734 and 737
operating as specials to Fleetwood before being used as static displays
at Tram Sunday. 66, 147, 600, 619 and 717 operated on the shuttle
service from North Pier to Ash Street.
A heavy rain shower meant a change to specials as it was reported that
boat 605 had to return to depot, 706 didnt see use either, however we
did get 623, 631 and 40 instead although 623 returned to depot with a
faulty compressor. 40 operated an extremely rare journey from Pleasure
Beach - Ash Street and back whilst 737 and 733+734 returned from
Fleetwood as specials following the end of the Tram Sunday event.
Into the evening and 643, 645, 642, 647, 648, 641 and 644 operated
the Fleetwood service and the prom was once again like a ghost town.
